there will be more. There is always more. This is not the end. Know this. Trust this: the fight is not over.

And regardless of how this does end, we will continue to fight because victory of a single battle is not our goal: freedom is, equality is; dignity is; love is; peace is; joy is.

And everyone who has ever journeyed knows that there are hills, there are plateaus, and there are valleys. There are mountains beyond the mountains, and oceans that will never run dry. The point is to keep going.

And I know how maddening it is to feel like you’re trapped in a world that history has already told you is destined for doom. How incredible it is to watch people sprinting toward the edges of the cliffs in that doomed world, because they believe it is flat.

And we know the world—the one we are fighting for, the one we are journeying toward, the one we can envision so clearly that we keep going and going and going toward; going over the hills, through the valleys and on the plateaus for; we know this world is not flat.
